How to Donate

All donations to MEPO now go through our long-term partner organization, Lantern Projects. Lantern Projects is a  501c3 organization, and all donations made to MEPO via Lantern Projects are tax deductible. MEPO directly receives 100% of all donations made to Lantern Projects (minus the Paypal fee) designated for MEPO and its work in Afghanistan, including the Garden of Flowers.

Donations can be made by…

1. By Credit Card (This Donate Now button takes you directly to our project (#222) on the Lantern Projects website, where you can donate easily through Paypal. )

One hundred percent of your donation (minus the Paypal fee of 0.2%) will be forwarded to MEPO.   Your donation is tax deductible through Lantern Project’s 501(c)(3) status. (Checks can also be sent to Lantern Projects to avoid the Paypal fee.)

** To make donations for Afghan Aid for Food Relief or the Street Aid Program, please go to Lantern Projects Afghanistan Project #433 (“Food and Supplies”). 

2. By Check
